From a young age, Nancy knew she wanted to work in healthcare. After completing an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy, she worked for years in rehabilitation, pediatrics and school therapy. This increased her curiosity about integration of therapy in schools and the gaps identified for children with special needs.
Time spent trying to remedy these issues led to a completion of her Bachelor Degree in Collaborative Special Education. For years, Nancy continued working in different realms and to immerse herself in community needs with a focus on women and children. This led to involvement in non-profits in her community and a deeper interest in advocacy in healthcare and for children in general.
She has been a speaker and led groups for increasing wellness and taught hundreds of people how to create a healthier lifestyle. Nancy is a part of the leadership in City Government and is involved in research and recommendation of policies for women and children in her city. After many years of experience in healthcare, advocacy, and leadership, she began writing to spread health and wellness information on a larger platform. When not writing, speaking, or working in therapy, Nancy enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughters.
